Muhammad Sadiq

Muhammad Sadiq is a Lecturer at the Department of Defense & Strategic Studies (DSS), Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU), Islamabad since 2007 and a PhD candidate at the School of Politics and International Relations, (QAU). He is doing research on “Nuclear Deterrence under the Shadow of Non-State Actors: A Case Study of South Asia” for his Ph.D Dissertation.

He was a Visiting Fellow at the James Martin Centre for Nonproliferation Studies (CNS) during Fall 2012 and a SWAMOS Alumni 2013 at the Columbia University. He has also worked on a capstone project at Sandia National Laboratories, New Mexico in Summer 2013.

He regularly contributes research articles to the leading Pakistani journals on Strategic Stability in South Asia, Nuclear Non-Proliferation and Arms Control and Disarmament.

His research and teaching areas include Nuclear Proliferation, Arms Control and Disarmament and Nuclear Strategy.
